Sr HSE Engineer - Feild Maintenance

As a Sr. HSE Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental engineering. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the well-being of employees, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting sustainability. Your expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance will enable us to mitigate potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment. You will report directly to our Sr. HSE Manager, and you will work remotely when you’re not on a travel assignment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nDevelop and execute comprehensive HSE strategies that foster a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.\nImplement proactive safety measures, training, and policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses.\nConduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.\nDevelop and maintain emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents.\nPromote environmental sustainability and minimize the environmental impact of our operations.\nCollaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and education on HSE matters.\nSome travel may be required\n\n

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $87,200 - $120,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $87,200 - $120,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n6+ years of experience in HSE engineering\nIn-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities\nExcellent communication and strategic planning skills\n\n
