As an Sr HSE Engineer- Manufacturing & Distribution here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the organization's health, safety, and environmental engineering efforts. You will ensure the highest standards of health and safety for employees, compliance with safety and environmental regulations and industry standards, and the implementation of best practices. You will report directly to our HSE Director and you'll work out of our Tonawanda, NY location with the Tonawanda site personnel.

Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders will ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our business as a responsible and sustainable organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nDevelop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the organization's mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.\nEnsure that the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.\nDevelop and implement proactive safety measures, training, and policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses in the workplace.\nConduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, providing engineering solutions and preventive measures.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents, including accidents and environmental emergencies.\nDevelop and manage the HSE budget, allocate resources, and seek cost-effective solutions to maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental protection.\nPromote environmental sustainability by implementing eco-friendly practices and minimizing the environmental impact of the organization's operations.\nEstablish and enforce quality control standards in HSE engineering, conducting regular inspections and performance assessments.\nCollaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and education on HSE matters.\n\n\n

The annual base salary range for this position is $89,600 - $111,800. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n6+ years of experience in Health, Safety and Environmental compliance\nIn-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices\nProficiency in HSE Management Systems\nExcellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities\n\n
