Sr Industrial Maintenance Controls Technician
As a Sr. Industrial Maintenance Controls Technician here at\nHoneywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient\noperation of controls systems in our industrial facilities. You will be\nresponsible for installing, maintaining, repairing controls, electrical\nequipment, mechanical, and systems, as well as troubleshooting issues to\nminimize downtime and maximize productivity.
In this role, you will impact the reliability and performance of our plant\nequipment, ensuring that they meet the highest safety and quality standards.\nYou will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to support the\nproduction process and contribute to the overall success of our operations.
Schedule: Night shift 2/2/3
Hours: 7pm-7am
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems,\nwhich includes tasks like troubleshooting malfunctions, performing preventative\nmaintenance, calibrating equipment, and ensuring proper operation of automated\nmachinery by working with sensors, actuators, pneumatic systems, controllers, and related components, often\nutilizing knowledge of PLC programming and electrical schematics to diagnose\nand resolve issues; they may also collaborate with engineers to implement\nsystem upgrades or modifications.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical\nsystems.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues\nbefore they cause disruptions.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment problems and implement effective solutions to\nminimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safe and efficient operation\nof electrical systems.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working\nenvironment.
Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its Personal\nProtective Equipment (PPE) business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc.\n(“PIP®”), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners. At this time, we\nanticipate that the deal will close in the first half of 2025, subject to\ncustomary closing conditions. The intent of this role, dedicated to the PPE\nbusiness, will be part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and\nregulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S.\ncitizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under\nasylum or refugee status.
• Minimum of five 5 years of experience as a Controls Industrial\nMaintenance Technician
•Experience working on PLC programming and\ntroubleshooting is required. (Allen\nBradley, HMIs.)
• Experience working in a multi-craft industrial\nmanufacturing or similar environment with experience as a control technician,\nelectrician and or mechanic is required.
WE VALUE
• Other industrial Maintenance backgrounds would be\nconsidered as well.
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, troubleshooting,\npipe fitting, and installation will be a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to use CMMS to perform PMs and report on plant\nissues.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification would be a plus.
• PLC trainings and or certifications
• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related\nfield would be a plus.
