Introduction
This position is for Integration Engineer for Silicon Photonics technology in GLOBALFOUNDRIES' India center at Bangalore, supporting 300mm wafer fabs in Malta, US. The candidate will be responsible for process integration, electrical characterization and production lots disposition to drive product and line yield and support various and manufacturing operations.
Your Job
Identify and resolve process integration issues and related problems Sustaining and improving manufacturing technologies by ensuring product quality, reducing defectivity, improving process stability (Cp/Cpk), and increasing processing efficiency Collaborating with technology development, process module & packaging team in ramping the technology and driving process solutions. Detecting line issues through data analysis and driving appropriate containment and resolution in a timely manner in order to limit the impact to yield and delivery Run DOE to optimize process margins and determine process & ET specificationsCustomer engagement through reporting of issues, status and milestonesClear reporting and communication of issues to home teams on a daily basisMust be flexible in job assignment and ready to work on weekend shifts on a rotational basis as required by the business
Required Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech. with 3-4 years or M.S./M.Tech. with 0-2 years of relevant experience in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, Photonics Engineering or Applied PhysicsKnowledge of circuit design and test, solid state device physics, submicron FET architectures, and the implications of electrical characteristics and performance on yield and product behaviorStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a globally matrixed team or environmentExcellent data analysis and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environmentPreferred Qualifications
