If you’re looking to fill your glass with opportunity, come join our FAMILY. **Overview** The Senior Employee and Labor Relations Investigator provides dedicated investigation support for the Employee and Labor Relations Center of Excellence (COE) and is responsible for conducting prompt, thorough, objective, and confidential investigations of employee and third-party complaints, policy violations, compliance violations, and grievances for an assigned region. Reports directly to the Regional Director, Employee and Labor Relations. **Primary Responsibilities** Lead investigations of complaints of misconduct involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, grievance, compliance and/or policy violations utilizing proven and acceptable investigative techniques and in accordance with Company policy and procedures. Conducts thorough, quality investigations of any level of complexity with minimal oversight. Conducts in-person, on-site interviews, if possible, with complainant(s), witnesses, and individuals against whom complaints are filed, to gather and analyze the facts associated with the complaints. Identifies, collects, analyzes, and preserves documentary and physical evidence related to the matters being investigated. Provides accurate, timely and detailed briefings to relevant stakeholders as required. Establishes and maintains effective communication with those parties involved in the investigation process. Prepares comprehensive written investigation reports that clearly identify the issues investigated, relevant policies and findings made with sound recommendations. Reviews investigation findings and recommendations with relevant parties, and in accordance with company policy, and ensures that recommendations are implemented. Monitors workplace to ensure workplace compliance with recommendations. Maintains investigation summaries, notes, results, and other documentation in case management system. Assesses investigation data and metrics to proactively identify risk areas and develop mitigation strategies, including training and policy updates. Identifies and uses metrics to improve investigation process, make recommendations to reduce future similar investigations, and to reduce associated risks to company. Participates and sometimes lead projects within ER/LR and L&E teams. Develops and effectively delivers job-related training. Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. **Additional Primary Responsibilities** + Identifies and uses metrics to improve investigation process, make recommendations to reduce future similar investigations, and to reduce associated risks to company. + Participates and sometimes lead projects within ER/LR and L&E teams. + Develops and effectively delivers job-related training. + Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner. + Performs other job-related duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Employee and Labor Relations (ER/LR), Human Resources (HR) or related field + Minimum of 5 years’ experience conducting effective workplace investigations, involving in-person, on-site interviews of employees throughout all functional areas of a large and complex business enterprise. + Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, EEO regulations and Company policies and procedures. + Ability to effectively communicate to build and maintain credibility with all levels of the organization and with Legal Counsel. + Strong analytical, fact-finding, evidence gathering and internet research skills. + Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships, including the ability to write clear concise reports, summaries, and correspondence. + Ability to manage deadlines, organize and prioritize work, and work collaboratively with other functional teams + Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive, job-related information. + Ability to work independently. + Proficiency in Microsoft applications with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Ability to Travel: Up to 50%.
