Respects and monitors compliance by subordinate employees of:
- work schedule;
- quality standards and / or other standards or directives;
- the work standard specific to the function;
- continuity of production flow;
- the procedures related to the jobs in its coverage area (Standard operating sheets, work plan, 5S
standard);
Organizes and motivates the team so that it is able to achieve the team's performance indicators by
taking objectives from the direct manager, measuring, updating at well-defined periods of time. The
analysis and taking of measures to correct the inappropriate results is performed together with the
direct manager;
Responsible for achieving the performance indicators of the sector (HSE, Quality, Productivity), by
monitoring the observance of the discipline related to the continuity of the production flow, the
procedures related to the workplace: Work plan, standard
operating sheets, work instructions, etc. and the 5S standard at workstations;
Communicates to the direct manager and the head of the HSE department the incidents and accidents that occurred in his surveillance area and any other situation about which he has reasons to consider it a danger to the security of employees
Communicates the production stage and the problems of the direct manager
Leads team meetings
Analyzes the request for acquisition / replacement / repair / realization of the material resources necessary to fulfill the activity in the sector
Manages the goods in the sector
Promotes high level production processes for all products
Is responsible for the professional development of team members
Distributes information to team members and supports collaboration between teams. Ensures communication between team members and superiors and vice versa. Settles small conflicts at work
Apply Six Sigma tools in efficiently solving production problems.
Develops and implements HOS production systems and processes to continuously improve competitiveness; · Monitors the analysis of the causes of scrap and the implementation of corrective actions to reduce scrap
Fulfilling other service tasks outlined by the direct manager or the company's management, with the necessary training.
Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge
Education/Qualifications · Bachelor’s technical degree (Electronic field will be an advantage) · Complementary management studies / courses;
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of operations management
5 years minimum experience on SMT processes
Professional skills and knowledge
Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the SMT industry
Strong business acumen, high adaptability skill, able to see root cause
Good leadership skills demonstrated through championing accountability
Ability to mentor, motivate, influence and persuade team members
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills · Fluency in English
Excellent knowledge of SMT standardize · Six Sigma (Green Belt minimum).
