Job Description

Job Profile: Sr. IT Analyst / Developer (EHS & Sustainability)

As a senior IT Analyst / Developer focused on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Sustainability, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of ZF’s local and global EHS systems. Your responsibilities will span various areas, combining technical expertise with proactive problem-solving and collaboration.

Your responsibilities include

Application Development and Support:

Develop and support our in-house EHS and Sustainability applications

Manage various EHS and Sustainability cloud applications
 

Digital Transformation:

Drive the digitalization of our EHS systems and processes

System integration and optimization
 

Project Management:

Manage IT projects related to EHS & Sustainability

Collaboration with various departments and external partners

Implement change requests from the business EHS & Sustainability teams
 

Optimization and Knowledge Building:

Proactively suggest optimizations and apply creative problem-solving

Build expertise in EHS & Sustainability practices
 

System Operations and Compliance:

Ensure trouble free operation of EHS systems

Support implementation projects on a global scale

Function as an important interface between EHS and IT security

What defines your profile

Education and Experience:

Completed studies in computer science or a related field Several years of professional experience in a relevant EHS environment 2+ years of experience configuring and implementing EHS systems and programs

 

Technical Skills:

Data analysis and management Skills in integrating various IT systems Proficiency as an Azure Architect and Developer
 

Operational Competence:

Experience in support and system operations Project management and methods (e.g. Agile, Scrum) to manage IT projects effectively Your soft skills Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Analytical thinking Life-long learning Working independently Problem-solving Structured working method High commitment and motivation to take on new tasks and bear responsibility Language proficiency Very good English skills, both verbal and written (required daily)
