Position Summary:
The Sr IT Engineer - Lab IT is responsible for the delivery and collaboration with the Manufacturing and Lab on validated environments, manufacturing tools, R&D in APAC, EMEA and AMR region with their tier 2-3 request.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing lab & manufacturing systems, tools, updating and patching validated systems as well as working with R&D.
The ideal candidate will have excellent technical background and biotech Lab background.
Position Responsibilities:
Effective management of lab/manufacturing ticket request (Service Now).Manage and deploy software, patches, security tools to Lab/Manufacturing systems leveraging SCCM.Able to collaborate deeply with Lab IT support team in other regions and provide support to Lab and Manufacturing environment globally.Able to engage with various support teams to perform in-depth investigation and able to provide own technical analysis findings in relation to SLA Incident Management.Assist in creation and review of engineering documents to support Lab IT Projects. This may include but not restricted to WI, Quality Plan, Datasheets, Application Notes, Technical Notes, Installation Notes, Programming Guides, User Manuals, Product Change Notifications, White PapersCreate and maintain various forms of documentation. (Configurations, Quick Reference Guides, Knowledge base articles).Participation in local, regional, and global projects.Will need to handle other tasks assigned by Manager.Have some knowledge on IOQ in qualification process.Preferably have worked in Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry beforePosition Requirements:
8+ years’ experience with enterprise-level IT operations role.Strong experience of SCCM & imaging in SCCM.Strong knowledge of PowerShell Scripting, SQL query and other scripting languages.Strong Knowledge of: Windows 7, 10, 11 & Server, IP Addressing, AD, DHCP, DNS, File Sharing, GPO, Database, Network & Firewall Administration, Port Security.Strong knowledge of Enterprise Linux (Cent OS, Redhat Enterprise, etc).Experiences with Cloud Services.Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.Experience with Technical Writing is important.Initiative & self-management.Ability to communicate effectively with peers, partners, and leadership.Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skillsA tenacious, data driven, logical problem solver.Ability to communicate effectively with peers, partners, and leadershipAll listed requirements are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilities.
