HealthEquity is looking for a experanced Sr IT Internal Auditor to join our team. This position is responsible for assessing the design and operating effectiveness of the company’s internal controls.  That responsibility includes creating workpapers to document test results and conclusions and assisting in the follow up of noted internal control deficiencies or improvement plans.  This position may also be asked to perform other duties related to special projects as assigned by Internal Audit management and will be expected to maintain professional and technically proficiency through ongoing professional education.

 

What you’ll be doing 

Be an ambassador of the Internal Audit department while performing assigned responsibilities consistent with the guidance established by the Internal Audit charter, policy, and proceduresIdentify, understand, and document processes and procedures surrounding internal controlsTake a lead role in assisting Internal Audit management to monitor and audit the company’s compliance with established internal controls (including but not limited to financial reporting and operational controls)Identify and assess the implementation of new controls as necessaryMaintain organized audit workpapers per established methodsReview various departments’ business processes and suggest ways to improve processesCoordinate audit efforts with the designated Audit ManagerCoordinate activities with external auditors to support their audit and review proceduresMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/seminars; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societiesEstablish and maintain productive work relationships with all departments and levels of audit staffPerform other duties or special projects as assigned by internal audit managementProvide on the job education to less experienced audit staff

What you will need to be successful

Experience should include 3 to 6 years of relevant audit experience conducting IT audits in the areas of user access management, change management, computer operations, software development, information security, and IT risk managementExperience with Information Security, Privacy, Compliance & IT Management Standards: ISO27001/27002, PCI-DSS, AICPA’s Trust Services criteria for SOC1/SOC2 reporting, SOX, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, NIST AI RMF, COBIT, HITRUST, ITIL, GAPP, & COSO.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical, interpersonal, problem solving, and relationship building skillsAbility to work both in a team setting and independentlyFlexibility and adaptability to work on multiple, diverse, financial and operational audits/projectsAbility to adapt with changing prioritiesAbility to be challenged and challenge management in an appropriate mannerSelf-starter to be self-sufficient in overall project and role successDrive to see tasks through to completion and by established deadlinesPreferred certifications: CISA, CPA, CISM, CIA, CISSP or similar certification desired or working towards certification

Salary Range $79500.00 To $100000.00 / year Benefits & Perks

The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. This position will be eligible for performance-based incentives as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits including:
