Summary

Authorized and accountable for the strategic planning and development and implementation of moderately complex IT initiatives. Manage all aspects of project deployment through creating detailed project plans and facilitating communication with internal and external project team members.

Key Job Responsibilities

Provide senior-level project management skills to develop and implement strategic initiatives through participating in all aspects of IT project deployment including product research, vendor interviewing and contracting and testing utilizing comprehensive knowledge obtained through experience.  Assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, and create complex project plans to detail the steps to implement initiatives including developing a project schedule to ensure a timely delivery and determining appropriate resources.  Perform periodic cost and productivity analysis of project plans to ensure adherence to established budgets and timelines.  Act as a liaison between team members and functional area management requesting the project.  Participate in establishing, organizing, and implementing short and long range goals, objectives, and policies and procedures.  Provide direction and support to project management staff.  Communicate with Executives, Sr. Management, vendors, and various internal and external departments regarding the current project initiatives and to gather feedback on new initiatives and interests. Obtain guidance and approval as required to advance initiatives.  May provide direction and training to lower level analysts.  Ensure project issues and concerns are escalated to management to be addressed efficiently and to ensure all operational processes work properly. Make recommendations to implement improved processes Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations relating to job duties. Perform other duties as assigned by management Data driven project focus   Data migrations from on-prem to cloud solutions  Migrating data from multiple sources into a data warehouse, data lake etc. then migrating/developing the reporting AppDev Projects Traditional application development projects (building new apps using internal resources or purchasing off the shelf apps and leading the project to configure and deploy) In some cases, we have multiple platforms that each do something different.   We want to create a single front end UI to access each platform to reduce the number of places users have to go to accomplish the work Some projects will be focused on Azure and cloud solutions.  It is not a requirement to have Azure experience specifically but they must have experience working cloud projects so they are able to ask the right questions and lead the project team to the goal. Infosec audits like PCI and other Infosec related projects.
