Primary Purpose The Citrix Engineer will oversee the comprehensive administration, configuration, and maintenance of Citrix and Microsoft Windows operating systems within a corporate environment. This includes managing and optimizing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops on Nutanix AHV, Citrix ADCs, and Citrix Cloud services. The role also involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with Active Directory, providing technical support to site-managed staff, and leveraging PowerShell for efficient automation. Additionally, the position requires adherence to change control procedures, documentation of all activities performed, and availability for on-call support outside regular business hours. Essential Functions Implements, installs, configures, monitors, troubleshoots, and evaluates existing and new Citrix and Microsoft Windows operating systems. Responsible for integration of user workstations with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Active Directory. Responsible for administration, configuring, upgrade and maintaining a large Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops on Nutanix AHV environment. Responsible for administration, configuring, upgrade and maintaining Citrix ADCs Responsible for administration, configuring, upgrade and maintaining Citrix Cloud. Regularly confers with database programmers, analysts, other systems administrators, and users regarding current and prospective system changes and future needs. Provides support to site-managed technical staff regarding system administration and usage. Directs efforts of technicians who are involved in diagnosing and correcting system related failures and performing system management activities; determines logical solutions to complex system administration and application problems. Regularly leverages PowerShell for automation. Obtain change control for work done, and document what actions you perform. Performs any other related duties as assigned by the IT Data Center Manager or other appropriate IT staff. Will be issued a company cell phone and be responsible to be on call as needed after hours, weekend and holidays. Perform other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Preffered 4 year bachelor's Degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field Minimum of 3 years microsoft Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP networking. Minimum of 3 years designing, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise Citrix environment. Ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff. Experience required in writing system documentation, system specifications/requirements, presentations, correspondence, studies, reports, and training materials. Demonstrated ability to properly develop and maintain accurate documentation. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers served and IT Department staff. Ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff. Experience required in writing system documentation, system specifications/requirements, presentations, correspondence, studies, reports, and training materials. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
