Key responsibilities
• Contribute to achieving or exceeding territory sales targets by improving Strategic Selling skills to not only maintain but also expand business within existing accounts.
• Cultivate and sustain strong business relationships at all levels within assigned accounts to critically influence purchasing decisions, ensuring effective engagement with all relevant partners to build trust and secure long-term contracts.
• Establish permanent and proactive communication with every area in ThermoFisher associated with the account, prioritizing close collaboration with team members.
• Function as the primary point of contact with the account, maintaining consistent and open communication with key contacts.
• Take the lead in formulating and performing the strategic plan for the key account.
• Identify Key Drivers and Decision-Making Processes to meet objectives, possessing a deep understanding of critical success factors and potential limitations.
• Deliver robust support to ThermoFisher business units, enabling them to achieve their targets for the key account.
• Actively seek out new business opportunities within the key account and work with the account team to coordinate and fulfill objectives and plans to bring together these opportunities.
• Maintain and improve the current customer database using Company customer relations management software (CRM), ensuring the team keeps the client database thoroughly updated.
• Be the unwavering advocate for the customer within ThermoFisher.
Required qualifications
· Health background degree, lab experience in IVD (clinical chemistry, molecular biology, chromatography, immunochemistry)
· Previous experience in a Big Accounts will be a plus
· Organized and independent with a spirit of initiative and acute business sense
· Sense of responsibility and team spirit
· Strong financial and Excell skills
· Proficient with standard computer-based tools
· Languages: English (advanced level)
· Relevant knowledge and work experience in field of IVD Market or Healthcare – Knowledge of diagnostic products and systems applications
· Minimum 5 years sales experience
