Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on data engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceHigh level hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced in programming language(s) - Java, Python, React, AWSAdvanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Extensive background in Technical Leadership - leading small teams, coaching/mentoring, ArchitectingAbility to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversightPractical cloud native experienceExperience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor a team of data engineersStrong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
