Job Summary
Responsible for planning scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance for the assigned fleet. Compile information, build work packages and plan workloads to expedite the maintenance and repair of the assigned aircraft fleet. Request and purchase parts for packages, ensure supplier accountability to delivery requirements.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
Prepare work packages on all assigned aircraft, M facilities and maintenance bases and/or 145 repair stations for heavy maintenance or major alterations.Coordinate Warehousing and Suppliers to ensure availability of required parts tooling and components at the M facility or base; engage suppliers for updates and hold accountable for delivery, ensuring escalation where suppliers do not meet expectations or requirementsWork closely with component planning to schedule work of time-controlled parts and repetitive inspections to be performed by maintenance personnel and ensure all MX plans achieve a 95% inspection/task yield rateEnsure all requisitions and purchases for pre-planned parts and tooling orders are performed on time and within SOP requirementsParticipate in coordination and pre-dock meetings with 145 repair stations (heavy maintenance planning only)Coordinate with M facility leads, or 145 repair station management concerning available manpower and tooling to support planned/schedule maintenance and adjust work packages are necessary based on allocations. Conduct weekly planning meetings with area/region.Prepare weekly base task listing (line and base planning only)Schedule work compliance on all EOs, EAS and FCDs issued by engineering for base or M facility accomplishment Schedule MEL deferrals to include materials and tooling to support deferral in base, line, or heavy maintenance work packagesAudit completed work packages to transfer any deferred work and ensure work packages are closed out. Notify management of any discrepancies, delays, or issues with work packages. Provide assistance to Base/Line mechanics entering data into Ramco and Air Vault to close out daily work as needed. Provide assistance to Vendor 145 repair stations entering data into Ramco and Air Vault to close out work packages.Other duties as assignedAdditional Job Requirements

Education & Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and seven to ten years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience5-7 year of aviation maintenance operations planning experience required1- 3 years maintenance management preferred (lead, supervisor, manager)Airframe and Powerplant License or equivalent military experience preferredSkills
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 135 and Part 145, Part 135 maintenance program experienceManages fluctuating priorities based on unforeseen process and resource challenges, defined projects and leadership prerogativesPlanning work assignments, schedules and reviews work in progress for highly fluid large complex area/regionCollaborates with various departments to develop statements of work, schedules and proceduresKnowledge of maintenance planning and maintenance record keeping softwareComputer Skills
