Overview:\n

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) provides comprehensive and dedicated support to the Navy of research, development, test and evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare systems and fleet support. Additional support for professional and operational support services is required as NSWCDD continues to provide the military with testing and certification by utilizing its Potomac River Test Range in Dahlgren, VA and provides fleet support at NSWCDD Dam Neck which is located in Virginia Beach, VA.\n

Job Summary:\n

Perform analysis, track research data, financial tracking, and business operations in support of day-to-day operations at NSWCDD.\n
\n

Education and Experience:\n\nSix (6) years of experience in DoD environment with progressive experience in performing analysis, tracking research data, financial tracking, business operations and Navy ERP program\nDemonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical activities simultaneously, including technical\/data processing\n\n
\n

Essential Duties: \n\nMaintain subsidiary accounts for Assets Under Development, Fixed Assets, and Accumulated Depreciation using Navy ERP\nProvide verbal and written assistance regarding Navy ERP system issues and participate in group and team meetings\nUtilize Navy ERP to process OM&S issue and transfer transactions\nWork with technical departments to answer questions or concerns relating to material management and general supply assistance\nWork with local Government Points of Contact (POCs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop localized job aides for specific Navy ERP roles, deemed critical learning materials, for local users to better understand the new business processes deployed within Navy ERP and the interdependencies of source data. \nJob aids include quick reference guides, process flow diagrams, and localized forms\nUtilize the Navy ERP to process OM&S issue and transfer transactions\nWork with local Government POCs and SMEs to conduct analysis of material and financial data and develop applicable process documentation to ensure FIAR compliant processes are recorded and accessible. \nProcess documentation includes training materials including PowerPoint conceptual information and guided exercises for gaining proficiency, printable and online desk guides, and work instructions that are step-by-step instructions for Navy ERP transaction accomplishment\n\n

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:\n\nExcellent proficiency in verbal and oral communication with personnel of all levels\nExperience in independently working projects and outstanding management skills\nKnowledge of the Government's data processing environments, including office automation networks, word processing applications, Microsoft Suite and advanced experience in spreadsheets\n\n
