TE Connectivity's Business Development Teams identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term business development strategies relating to the development of new products, technologies and services. They identify markets and determine the feasibility of business and product development. Our Teams perform economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities, develop business models and determine market trends to substantiate long-term prospects.
Role DescriptionCollaboratively with BD, lead “where to play” and “how to win” choices to drive growth, improve profitability, and sustain competitive advantage globally and regionally.
Develop strategies and approaches to fulfill complex project assignments in creative and meaningful ways
Create analytical models to address key business questions and translate output into clear stories
Analyze industry structure, competitive dynamics, and market attractiveness and its likely evolution to inform AFG strategy development
Actively identify FTAM opportunities for AFGs and lead, collaboratively with Business Development team and cross-functional stakeholders, the body of work in identification and validation of TAM expansion opportunities.
Lead cross-functional teams in solving business problems using a hands-on hypothesis-driven approach:
-Lead from the front by taking on complex workstreams and providing though guidance and hands-on support
-Guide and coach project team members in using a hypothesis-driven approach
-Manage projects and develop deliverables and executive presentations
-Frame discussion of findings and recommendations
-Assess organic and inorganic opportunities on multiple dimensions
Advise the senior leadership team on selecting the most attractive opportunities and acquisition targets to strengthen product portfolio and go-to-market capabilities.

Previous Professional experience
• 15+yrs of Industry experience with 3 years or more of management consulting experience post graduate degree preferred
• 2 years or more of experience working in corporate strategy for an industrial company
• Experience interfacing with executives and C-suite through effective communication of ideas and plans
• Track record of demonstrated leadership potential in a business environment
• Sense of tact, confidentiality, and maturity
Education
• MBA degree is highly valuable
