Your New Role

The Senior Manager – Consolidations will be a part of the team responsible for performing the global consolidation and financial reporting of the Company, facilitating the close of the accounting books, and generating financial statements in compliance with US GAAP. This position will play a leadership role in ensuring the global consolidation and associated projects are successful and efficient. The position has frequent interaction with senior leaders in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Treasury and Operations.

Your Role Accountabilities

Lead consolidation projects and oversee the successful completion of multiple simultaneous workstreams.Assist with financial reporting initiatives, including external, internal, and statutory reporting requirements.Ensure financial controls are operating effectively including ownership of SOX controls. Ensure financial controls over systems and processes are properly functioning and sign off on control effectiveness quarterly in accordance with WBD SOX guidelines. Frequent interaction with internal and external auditors evaluating controls and other testing.Provides audit and other documentation as requested from internal and external auditors (including SOX controls), tax, financial planning and analysis, etc.Other duties and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 8 years of experience required (industry or public), minimum of 3 years of experience in supervisory/leadership roleStrong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and SOX requirementsExperience with complex consolidation systemsExperience leading system conversion and consolidation projectsBS/BA in related discipline from an accredited universityCPA requiredSelf-motivated, enthusiastic, proactive, deadline-orientedStrong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage the accounting activities for multiple diverse businessesExcellent oral and written communication skills to articulate key informationUnceasing curiosity and the courage to challenge the status quoAbility to meet deadlines under pressureMental agility to prioritize and execute independently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent work habits, including initiative, independent problem-solving abilities and ownership of work productStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficePreferred experience:Big 4 / Public accounting backgroundExperience with the financial consolidation of an SEC registrantExperience working directly with external auditors to resolve complex accounting, consolidation and reporting issuesOracle, Peoplesoft, SAP experience
