Job Description
Core Duties and Job Functions:
Be a business partner to the business units that are designated, providing inputs, insights, advice and training where necessaryManages the delivery of accurate and timely management reporting including monthly financials, Quarterly Business Review reporting, revenue reporting and functional expense reportingDelivers advanced analytical support to middle and upper management, either through subordinate financials analysts or individual effortsPrepare monthly and quarterly management reports - analyzing financial results, key trends, current and future business risks and opportunitiesProvide support for business review meetings process, including ad hoc analysis as needed by stake holders and business partnersContinuously focuses on improvements to planning processes and systems and works closely with finance management to develop more integrated planning processesWorking with other members of the FP&A team, manages the annual planning calendar involving in-depth coordination of portfolio review, strategic plan, budget and forecasts (internal and external).Accelerate business partnering with stake holders such as Business Units in charge, Commercial Operations, and all other related functionsLead and influence cross functional projects as appropriateSupport other team members where necessary to deliver on results as a teamKnowledge, Experience and Skills:
8+ years of relevant finance experience (FP&A, Accounting, Audit)BA/BS is a must, MBA or equivalent master’s degree is a plusAdvantageous with experience in healthcare industryExperience involving coordination of financial planning processes such as budgets and forecasts is desirableExperience with project reporting and operational accounting and reporting is criticalWorking knowledge of ERPs (Oracle, SAP etc) and reporting tools (Hyperion, TM1 etc)Advanced skills of Excel and PowerPointEnjoy working in a fast paced and changing environment, meeting deadlines in an accurate and timely mannerLogical thinking capability. Inquisitive, continuous improvement and growth mindset is required.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills requiredNative Japanese language skill with proficiency in written and verbal English requiredForward looking personality with “can do” attitude and enterprise mindset requiredCertain level of business acumenTeamwork mindset, rather than independent contributor mindset, is essential for this positionAcademic Level:
Bachelors
Advantageous for MBA or equivalent master’s degree holders and/or accounting/finance certificate holders
