We have an opportunity for a Sr Manager, Microsoft Platform Engineering to join our Global IT Infrastructure team in Golden Valley, MN. You will be responsible for Pentair’s global infrastructure. Key accountabilities include implementing, managing, and maintaining Pentair’s data center, cloud, and office networks. You will be a multifaceted individual who works closely with other departments and leaders across the organization, with a solid track record of hands-on experience with enterprise level networking and cloud solutions.

You will:
Manage the Microsoft Platforms of 365, SharePoint, and Power Apps.Ensure standard operating procedures are completed and implemented throughout the team.Lead troubleshooting sessions related to connectivity, performance, outages, etc.Provide leadership to direct reports and a team of Microsoft professionals and manage the day-to-day workload of the team.Drive accountability for managed service providers to ensure performance is met.Monitor performance on service level agreements (SLAs) through regular review and follow up on metrics.Ensure and monitor processes are in place to proactively protect consistent service quality through acceptable change control and service procedures in line with agreed upon process and standards.Define and drive the technical infrastructure strategy and roadmaps, including short- and long-term outcomes.Negotiate service level agreements with service providers, internal and external customers while monitoring service delivery to ensure the agreed targets and standards are met.Partner with cross-functional leaders on the completion of projects and roadmaps.Key Qualifications:
Have earned a bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) degree.Have 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 5+ years of IT leadership experience.Strong M365 Platform background required.Familiarity with the Power Platform technologies within the Microsoft environment including Power Automate and Dataverse.Experience with supporting Azure infrastructure and related technologies.Functional SharePoint knowledge and ability to develop strategies and roadmaps.Knowledge of IP networks, network components, and troubleshooting using tools to diagnose and resolve network issues.Experience driving & defining complex IT strategy.Ability to work to aggressive deadlines while remaining flexible to the needs of the business.Demonstrates a positive and proactive attitude, taking the initiative in ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the expected quality.Exhibits collaborative, “customer-focused” approach when partnering with application teams for project delivery.Ability to effectively presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.Effective project management skills to lead multiple IT disciplines that include software development, technical support, systems architecture, etc.Pentair is an Equal Opportunity Employer
