Offer Strategy & Optimization 

Develop and implement a comprehensive offer strategy to optimize customer acquisition, engagement, and long-term value. 

Develops long term (3-5 years) strategic recommendations to optimally position BMO and drive Personal and Business Banking Acquisitions 

Continuously analyze offer performance across segments, seasons, products, and channels to identify opportunities for improvement. 

Test and iterate new offer constructs to maximize effectiveness and meet business objectives. 

Evaluate and refine existing offers to ensure they drive primacy and enhance customer relationships. 

Provides subject matter expertise in the design, development, management, and implementation of new offers, from business case development through execution.  

Works across BMO to deliver expected business results in alignment with overall acquisition goals. Assists in the development of strategic plans. 

Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business / group strategy. 

Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine. 

Implements changes in response to shifting trends. 

Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed. 

Data Analytics & Business Case Development 

Partner with data analytics and marketing teams to build predictive models that estimate response rates and optimize offer targeting. 

Develop and evaluate business cases for new offers, providing data-driven recommendations on their feasibility and potential impact. 

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of offers and adjust strategies based on insights. 

Utilize customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends to inform offer development and enhancements. 

Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards. 

Technology & Conditional Offer Engine Management 

Oversee the development roadmap for the conditional offer engine, ensuring new capabilities align with business needs and growth objectives. 

Work with technology teams to enhance offer personalization and automation capabilities, enabling real-time and data-driven offer execution. 

Ensure seamless integration of new offer capabilities into digital and branch channels. 

Leads or supports change management activities to coordinate strategic business development initiatives across business / groups and support offer implementation logistics. 

May consult to or serve on various committees and task forces. Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs. 

Identifies enablers and key issues prior to and during implementation of strategic business development initiatives and raises issues with stakeholders to resolve issues or risks that jeopardize delivery. 

Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution 

Lead multiple offer design and implementation projects across various stakeholders, including marketing, product, technology, and sales. 

Collaborate with marketing teams to design and launch targeted campaigns that maximize offer effectiveness. 

Partner with product teams to align offers with broader customer acquisition and engagement strategies. 

Act as a key liaison between business and technology teams to ensure smooth execution of offer-related initiatives. 

Acts as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies. 

Manages multiple programs / projects simultaneously and resolves conflicting priorities. Ensures alignment between stakeholders. 

Keeps stakeholders informed of messages, recommendations, decisions, process, and progress. 

Qualifications & Experience 

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred. 

10+ years of experience in offer strategy, marketing analytics, product management, or a related field within retail banking, financial services, or a data-driven consumer industry. 

Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with experience in A/B testing, predictive modeling, and performance analysis. 

Deep understanding of customer acquisition strategies, segmentation, and digital marketing. 

Experience managing and enhancing offer engines or personalization technology to drive engagement and conversion. 

Ability to develop and evaluate business cases, ensuring offers drive measurable business impact. 

Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership. 

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations related to customer acquisition offers in financial services.

Salary:

$110,000.00 - $204,100.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
