The Sr Manager, Operations is a pivotal role within the Engineering team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Global Operations, North America/Australia. This position is based in our Oakwood Village, OHIO location.

A day in the Life:

Develop and strictly implement operations strategies aligned with dynamic business needs.Monitor and analyze critical metrics to drive outstanding results in manufacturing, supply chain, and quality.Manage the financial performance of the operations team, focusing on revenue, cost management, and cash flow.Exhibit Role Model Leadership, encouraging employee engagement and recognition.Lead continuous improvement initiatives using key performance metrics, implementing investments to drive cost reduction and efficiency.

Keys to Success:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 10 years in management within a complex manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronics equipment industry.Proven experience in site manufacturing operations and business.Expertise in continuous improvement and Lean methodologies.Strong leadership skills in team mentoring and development.
