The Sr. Pricing Manager will lead the pricing solutions to keep improving sales and market penetration, driving successful large deals while ensuring the business’ long-term financial objectives are met.

Proactively drive improvements to increase efficiency of pricing intelligence, processes and tools to enable commercial teams to achieve aggressive profitable growth.Promote new pricing ideas and drive strategic pricing initiatives to enable profitable revenue growth in the diverse the business landscape, initiate and manage pricing and profitability review cadence to promote commercial leadershipProvide deep domain expertise on pricing, discount control and margin analysis, identify areas of improvement for enhanced sales efficiency and effectiveness.Be trusted adviser to commercial team on large deal related matters, elevate information into innovative solutions and advise sale team on winning strategy to help drive deal closures.Mentor professional development of team members with inclusion, and build trusting cross-functional business relationships.

 

How you will get here:

Education

BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or related field desired

Experience

10 years of direct experience in Pricing, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk, with strong people management experience. Excellent discernment and experiences working in a business partnering type role.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Excellent investigative, analytical and consistent track record to identify commercial team needs, invent new ways to meet those needs and solve ambiguous problems.Crafting and influencing decisions in a high-energy, fast-paced, high-matrix environmentProficient user of SAP, Power BI, Cognos, excel, PowerPoint, etc.Hire, lead, coach, strengthen and develop the finance & accounting team to enable professional and technical growth as well as talent retention.Promote a culture of personal responsibility/accountability and open communications.Demonstrates and promotes the company vision, values and competencies.Highly capable to identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical-Process-Improvement
