Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations._ + Lead a team that partners with Tech Ops leadership to identify improvement opportunities and lead initiatives for establishing industry leading processes. + Drive collaboration amongst stakeholders, including frontline personnel, in the development and implementation of changes. + Lead a team to analyze and identify technology or process upgrades required to drive improvement in business outcomes + Work closely with frontline operational leaders in the planning, deployment, and sustainment of standardized processes. + Establish metrics for both systems and production and develop sustainable monitoring plans. + Support the development and delivery of a comprehensive Tech Ops strategy for Re-engineering the Business. **All you'll need for success** **Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** + Bachelors degree in Technical, Engineering, Aviation or Businessrelated field or equivalent experience/training + Eight (8) years experience in major airline operations + Minimum 3 years experience leading a team **Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience** + Five (5) years Technical Operations experience including 3+ years in a cross-functional role + Strong knowledge of safety and compliance reporting processes + Demonstrated Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement experience including leveraging technology to drive process outcomes **Skills, Licenses & Certifications** + FAA A&P License **What you'll get** Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: + Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
