Sr Manager, Product Management

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for managing the global product portfolio for infection control.  This role will lead the implementation of product development activities and collaborate with Henry Schein and Affiliate Sales Channels and Brand Marketing leaders to achieve corporate Sales and GP objectives across business units.  This encompasses all phases of product development and lifecycle management.  Additionally, the incumbent works closely with various functional areas across the organization to assure strategy implementation and to advance category vertical manufacturing integration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Leads upstream marketing and implementation of global category strategic plan to accelerate new product development by leveraging vertical manufacturing infrastructure and key strategic supplier relationships in order to expand and maximize Henry Schein enterprise-level marginsLead Team of Product Managers with overall Infection Control category responsibility for product lifecycles, new product development, establishing product definitions & specifications, and commercial sales & GP forecastsDevelop detailed product roadmaps and new product development project schedules for major sales channels with an emphasis on addressing product category gapsCollaborate with global business and sales channels leaders to get input and alignment on Infection Control market and customer requirementsDirect and oversee R&D projects and budgets utilizing both internal resources and external suppliersEstablish KOL, customer, and sales channel networks to collect product requirement VOC and product validation feedbackDevelop models to position product solutions around customer procedural and process workflows focusing on alternate business models that enhance the customer experience and increase connectivitySupport initiatives to drive vertical integration by advancing internally controlled IP and manufacturingCollaborate with various functional areas to support the strategic plan and growth objectives (e.g., Regulatory, Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, etc.)Provide Infection Control category technical leadership companywideDevelop and maintain reporting for sales and GP, strategic initiative KPIs, and new product revenueParticipate in special projects as needed

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product ManagerSome knowledge of Medical Device RegulationsDemonstrated success in defining and launching productsProven ability to influence cross-functional teamsDetail oriented

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 3 or more years of management experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands are required.

The posted range for this position is $109,807-$171,574 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
