Position Summary:

Lead the Biosciences Division (BID) Sales organization in Japan and drive the strategic growth agenda.

The person will be responsible for all sales activities in Japan through direct and 3rd Party sales channels to deliver Annual Operating Plan (AOP) revenues and margin.

Work with support functions, (Service Management, Customer Services, Operations) to develop an effective, advantageous commercial approach to support Customers.

Lead price and product mix performance: implement corrective / growth measures where necessary.

Maintain and further top level customer relationships with a hands-on approach, and act as the partner concern point for all customer and system issues. Represent BID Japan at the senior level during key customer negotiations.

Work across the local/regional and global Thermo Fisher Scientific organization to develop and align actions and processes to provide differentiated customer value and enhanced customer satisfaction through Customer Allegiance Scoring (CAS) programs.

Lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional performance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine customer needs and successfully implement solutions

Establish and nurture strong connections with important customers and individuals involved in our work.

Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to determine strategies for staying ahead of the competition

 

Requirements:

Equivalent experience in Business or a related field is also acceptable.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growt

Exceptional leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Fluent in English and Japanese
