**Job Description**
+ Set sales targets for region, and distribution partners along with key selling objectives
+ Responsible for delivering revenue and market share growth objectives.
+ Develops the regional commercial and marketing plan, including development and implementation of tactics to accomplish growth targets
+ Works with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Communications to conceive, define and implement promotional tools and sales tactics to drive growth.
+ Develops a detailed understanding of local customer requirements for the product line(s) and provides input into future product specifications and product positioning.
+ Provides mentorship, information, market intelligence and recommendations to improve market penetration and orders growth for the PL
+ Handles weekly forecasting routines, responsible for AOP bookings planning of the PLs
+ Maintains and updates geographical product performance analysis for the PLs
+ Get results using SFDC CRM database and report performance during monthly and quarterly sales reviews; monthly forecasts.
+ Recruit, retain and develop strong sales support team.
+ Work with global sales counterparts to ensure we are always acting in the best interest of the customer and ThermoFisher to improve both customer happiness and revenue. This includes making sure our cross-territory policies and practices are known and practiced throughout the channel.
+ Ensure that Thermo Fisher Scientific customers are receiving the best post-sales support by working closely with our technical support team to improve post sales experience.
+ Work in partnership with marketing and product management to collect VOC (voice-of-the-customer) efficiently on the front-end of all new product programs. Additionally, leverage both marketing and technical resources to ensure the highest quality training for our sales representatives.
+ Responsible for Regional Service Management to indirect channels and customers. In synchrony with Channel Managers, lead requests and provide collaborate with service team in the factories for different product lines to ensure fast, accurate and the best service level to customers when service teams from Indirect Channel cannot address needs. Ensure that distributors service team attend needed trainings to keep the service level at the highest standard.
