Sr Manager, Strategic Partnerships and Business Operations (Regeneron Genetics Center)

We are looking for a Senior Manager to join the Strategic Partnerships & Business Operations team at the Regeneron Genetics Center (RGC) and aid in supporting of the group’s scientific mission. You will primarily be responsible for tracking, documenting and managing compliance with all RGC’s contractual obligations arising from a diverse landscape of agreements with academic institutions, not-for-profit partners, and strategic vendors.

As a Senior Manager, a typical day might include the following:

Tracking of reporting requirements, milestones, and deadlines for large contract portfolio.

Monitoring and logging internal queries and responses around data use. 

Generating reports for internal stakeholders and leadership.

Reviewing and tracking decisions made by counsel and leadership.

Actioning responses to asset and data retention obligations.

Submitting & ensuring up-to-date compliance risk assessments.

Updating entries and files in Salesforce and SharePoint.

An ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environments and prioritize effort based on business/group/external context.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Experience supporting collaboration and licensing activities; and exposure to sponsored research agreements, confidentiality agreements, and material transfer agreements.

Basic understanding of the fundamentals of pharmaceutical/biotech business development.

Experience working with cross-functional teams across research, clinical, finance, legal, and administrative functions as well as with third party collaborators.

Experience working an environment that required flexibility and continuous multi-tasking

To be considered for this opportunity you must possess a degree in business, law, or other related area. At least 8 years of experience including contract compliance, alliance management, business development, academic technology transfer; biopharma or healthcare industry experience. Candidate should have strong organizational skills, good communication (written and oral) and presentation skills, experience managing a portfolio of contracting activities, experience with CRM management (e.g., Salesforce), and an interest (or experience) in genetics. Up to 10% of domestic and international travel may be required. Must be onsite at least 3 days a week which is subject to management discretion

$96,700.00 - $157,700.00
