Primary Responsibilities

The Senior Manager of Supply Chain leads a team of Demand Replenishment Planners and oversees an enterprise-wide supply chain operation with responsibilities over purchasing, demand planning and inventory management.  Additional responsibilities include strategic planning, ad hoc problem solving and managing relationships with a diverse vendor community, a growing customer base, and all relevant internal departments.  As with all positions at KeHE, we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHE’s Mission, Vision and Values.

Essential Functions Leads a team of Demand Replenishment Planners and Transportation AnalystsCollaborates with Director team to influence department strategy and create yearly targets (SMART goals).  Ability to translate strategic goals into specific actions and team objectives.Works to maximize KPIs: outbound fill rate, inventory turns, days on hand, spoilage, and forecast accuracy.Partners with vendor community and KeHE (Transportation/Ops/AM) teams to problem solve, streamline processes and to maximize customer satisfaction.Proactively monitors the business and works to mitigate risks caused by critical demand and supply changes. Creates and fosters and environment of trust, teamwork, continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.Drives strategic meetings, projects, and improvements with key vendors.Provide data driven insight and actionable feedback to key account teams.Serves as backup to the Director Supply Chain in his/her absence. Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude Outstanding analytic skills with demonstrated success organizing, analyzing, and accurately interpreting large amounts of data.Capable of influencing & educating organization on supply chain and forecasting success factors.High comfort level negotiating with vendors and key business partners.
