Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Value Stream Management is responsible for leading and managing all value stream management activities within the assigned portfolio, including leadership of manufacturing and manufacturing support, with strong cross-collaboration and matrix leadership skills with manufacturing engineering, global supply chain planning, and quality assurance, with matrix working relationships within the same value stream to create a world class operations team.. He/She is very knowledgeable of the manufacturing process of each product line within the product family and has a working knowledge of each step in the process at a minimum. With the support of his/her manufacturing team and collaboration with relevant support functions they are responsible for maximizing profitability, meeting customer demand, and ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction with an eye toward continually improving the process and information flow.

Directly responsible for achieving the Annual Operation Plan (AOP) results and the subsequent performance management of all direct reports within the value stream Directs and coordinate the execution of manufacturing operations and schedules based on sales requirements and value stream capacity Develops complete understanding of entire process of each product line (current state) including production bottlenecks and risks to the process that could stop or slow process flow Monitor KPIs routinely to ensure current production, quality, and cost targets are achieved Remain current on technology such as automation, design improvement, or other technological innovations that improve efficiency through the elimination of waste, reduced variability and rework, and increased quality and reliability allowing redeployment of human capital Champion the implementation of a future state map and create a plan for adherence to the new processes Monitor and evaluate the effect of process changes and adjust as necessary to ensure maximum benefit of any changes Support Rapid Problem Solving and accountability throughout the Value Stream Creates a work environment where employees are energized, excited, and motivated to continuously improve value stream processes, delight our customers, and accomplish both individual and team goals and objectives Prepare, communicate, and evaluate team goals and objectives for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality system along with providing individuals with professional growth Performs other job-related duties assignedDirect Reports: Typically includes two or more (Manager level).

Rate of pay: $128,000 - 192,000/year
Position Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

High energy level Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies is highly desirable. Takes prudent risks. Can make optimal decisions rapidly, in many cases with incomplete information. Prior experience creating and managing budgets with a focus on cost effectiveness is required. Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, GMP’s and ISO 13485 is preferred. Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office products or equivalent software application. SAP and MES experience is preferred.
Background Experiences
A Bachelor’s Degree and/or combination of education and related experience is required. A Master’s Degree in an Engineering, Technical or Business discipline is preferred. A minimum of 7 years’ experience in operations is required, preferably in a pharmaceutical or medical device facility. P&L responsibility for a product line or manufacturing department or site
