Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Agilist with 13 to 15 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies. This role is hybrid with no travel required and operates during day shifts. The candidate will play a crucial role in driving Agile practices and ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead Agile transformation initiatives across multiple teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.Oversee the implementation of Scrum practices to enhance team productivity and project outcomes.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on Agile principles and best practices.Facilitate daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove impediments and ensure smooth project execution.Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track the progress of Agile initiatives.Develop and maintain Agile training materials to support ongoing team development.Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.Drive the adoption of Agile tools and techniques to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.Ensure that all Agile ceremonies are conducted effectively and deliver value to the team.Foster a culture of transparency accountability and continuous improvement within the team.Coordinate with other Agile coaches to share best practices and drive consistency across the organization.Promote the benefits of Agile methodologies to stakeholders and senior management.Qualifications
Possess a deep understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies with proven experience in leading Agile transformations.Demonstrate strong facilitation skills to effectively conduct Agile ceremonies and workshops.Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with team members and stakeholders.Show proficiency in using Agile tools such as Jira Confluence or similar platforms.Have experience in the healthcare domain specifically with Provider and Payer systems is a plus.Display a strong ability to mentor and coach team members on Agile practices.Hold relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).The Cognizant community:
