About The Job:
The Presales Customer Advisory Team is seeking a dynamic Presales Manager to lead our Public Sector Vertical across Germany. You will manage a team of Presales Advisors across the region, guiding sales consultations for SAS customers on our innovative product and solution portfolio. This role can be based anywhere in Germany and will require travel across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead with Impact: Drive the Presales team to execute a strategic plan with excellence in execution (qualification, stakeholder influence, value statement, etc).Shape Strategy: Collaborate with sales leadership to tailor SAS’s go-to-market approach in the public sector, considering regional nuances.Drive Adoption: Promote SAS and solution adoption throughout the sales cycle.Innovate Dialogues: Challenge the status quo to modernise customer interactions.Deliver Consistently: Ensure cohesive messaging and consistent delivery of SAS technologies and solutions during customer engagements.Inspire & Grow the Team: Hire, develop, and mentor top pre-sales talent to create a high-performing, customer-obsessed advisory organization.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in technical sales leadership role, presales or consultancy functions or support.Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or quantitative field; equivalent experience will be considered.Market Insight: Knowledge in at least two areas: Central Government, Regional Government, Law Enforcement or Policing.Team Building: Proven ability to cultivate a cohesive team across countries, optimising skills and resources.Tech Savvy: Excellent awareness of Data & AI incl. software, cloud and their applications in the public sector.Influential Leader: Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders, including senior civil servants.Partner Ecosystem Understanding: Familiarity with partnerships to enhance domain expertise and our ability to transact.Fluency in English and German is requiredTravel Flexibility: Willingness to travel across Germany as needed. · You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable.
