Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Employee Relations is responsible for maintaining and fostering a positive work environment at Papa John's. This position is responsible for ensuring that employee relations (ER) practices are consistent with the company's policies and compliant with employment laws. The Senior Manager will conduct workplace investigations, provide expert guidance on ER issues, handle inquiries from team members and managers, and collaborate with various departments to support HR initiatives.

This role has a hybrid schedule with three days in the Louisville Office and two days remote.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

Consistency in ER Recommendations: Manage consistency in ER related recommendations based on Papa John's policies.Team member and Manager Inquiries: Respond to inquiries from team members and managers regarding matters involving employment practices, policies, employment laws, and HR compliance.Policy Compliance: Ensure that applicable HR policies are compliant, up to date through the lens of diversity and inclusion, maintained, and appropriate for achievement of business needs.Expert ER Advice: Provide expert ER advice and guidance to HRBPs and management on day-to-day ER issues.Investigation Records: Maintain accurate and timely investigation records via the ER Case Management System.Trend Analysis: Analyze ER trends and help create strategic recommendations to proactively address systemic issues.Collaboration: Work in collaboration with other People Ops COEs to provide relevant ER expertise in the execution of initiatives and projects.ER Education: Conduct ER related education for HRBPs and management.Confidentiality: Maintain highly confidential team member and organizational information.
