The Sr Manager – Security Architecture & Engineering will have a strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, a proven track record in developing secure applications and building teams. What you will do:
Collaborate with engineering, digital and other critical teams to ensure the delivery of secure solutions, while also educating staff on cybersecurity best practices, industry standards, and relevant regulations to promote a security-conscious culture across the organization Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams on secure coding practices and cybersecurity best practices. Establish and document security-focused architectural standards, conduct thorough code reviews to identify vulnerabilities, and design and develop secure reference implementations for software solutions to ensure robust, scalable security Identify and assess risks in systems and processes, develop mitigation plans, collaborate across product and enterprise security architectures to strengthen overall security, and provide regular reports to management on risk assessments, strategies, and improvements Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of the core Security Operations Platform to secure organizational and product infrastructure through monitoring, threat and vulnerability detection, and enabling efficient incident response Contribute to the development and maintenance of the cybersecurity strategy, and roadmap Foster a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement within the organization Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including IT, legal, audit, compliance, vendors, and regulators, to support security initiatives and ensure effective communication Work closely with legal and compliance teams to manage cybersecurity risks associated with third-party vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with organizational security objectives Stay abreast of the latest security trends, technologies, and threats, and evaluate and implement new security solutions and tools Assist in maintaining the organization’s cybersecurity operations in compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices Participate in critical operational functions as needed, including vulnerability management (VM), incident response and coordination (IR), security orchestration and automation Participate in the evaluation and selection of vendors for security tools to be integrated into the Security Operations Platform, ensuring efficient automation and seamless integration to enhance security capabilitiesWhat’s in it for you:

Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or closely related field 10+ years of experience with progressive responsibilities. Ideally starting in development and up through leadership Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies. Practical experience in information technology and infrastructure. Proficiency product security, product delivery and maintenance, cloud computing, security principles, and emerging technologies Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and mentoring software developers and engineers. · Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical and business requirements. The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,000 - $175,000 + bonus in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
