Job Description
The Senior Mechanic will be responsible for the functionality and reliability of machines, engines, and mechanical systems by performing moderately complex and varied construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of (measurement) equipment, so that measurements of the required quality can be made in time in the field. Helps seeking solutions for improvement of equipment, working processes and safety and takes on tasks that have been escalated by more junior team members.
Job Responsibilities
Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk. Performs maintenance on geophysical such as winches, compressor, and other equipment.Performs fundamental electrical wiring maintenance on equipment as required. Inspects all hydraulic equipment on a regular basis to maintain a safe working order.Welds various equipment on a regular basis to maintain a safe working order.Weld various equipment components; aluminum and steel. Drives company vehicles, transports equipment to and from various locations.Mobilizes and de-mobilizes equipment on company or charted vessels.Job Requirements
Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.Possess current driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record.Possess or be able to obtain valid passport and TWIC card.Possess a senior secondary vocational education preferred.Have 7 years or more of relevant work experience required.Possess a secondary vocational education preferred.What’s in it for you?
