Location/Division Specific Information:

Grand Island, NY-Biologicals and Chemicals Division (BCD). Manufacturing facility producing liquid and powder media and developing cell culture cell therapies.

How Will You Make an Impact?:

The candidate will be responsible for the production and facilities equipment at the Grand Island Facility. The Facility is a class 2 medical device manufacturer of liquids and dry powder media in cleanroom environments.

A Day in the Life:

Shift: 1st: 7:00am-3:30PM Sunday-Thursday

The candidate will be responsible for the day to day troubleshooting of production and facilities equipment as well as Preventive Maintenance and projects to support EngineeringThe candidate will have a knowledge of pneumatics, electromechanical technology, mechanical proficiency and experience with Allen-Bradley controlsResponsible for supporting and maintaining the mechanicals for all daily operations in a manufacturing environmentRespond to utility and equipment related alarms and maintenance issues during manufacturing campaignsComplete preventative and corrective maintenance on equipmentIdentify areas of potential, to improve operational performance and complianceUphold safety procedures and safe practicesThe role will also be responsible for providing general maintenance support for new processing equipment, installations, and modifications to existing equipmentEducation:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related fieldPreferred: Experience in a cGMP environmentKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Automation knowledge – PLCSProgram logic control knowledgePractical knowledge of GMP’s and working in an SOP environmentExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independentlyPhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentAbility to aseptically gownWhat We Offer

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $25.58–$32.73.
