Thermo Fisher Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our outstanding manufacturing and facilities team in Grand Island N.Y. USA. This position will have the opportunity for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of dry powder and liquid manufacturing equipment in a clean room environment. The Senior Manufacturing Technician will perform various operations using specialized equipment ranging from manual to automated process steps. This role requires a high level of attention to detail with safety, quality, and other production standards in mind to contribute to the sites overall success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct system testing and debugging to ensure accurate functionality ad adherence to design specifications.Perform preventive maintenance on control systems, including calibration and hardware replacements as needed.Provide technical support to end users, assisting with system training, troubleshooting, and resolving operational issues.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in control system technologies.Adhere to safety protocols and standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Collaborate with cross functional teams, including operations, maintenance and engineering to optimize system integration and performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology with 1-3 years experience or equivalent in a related field.Proven experience in control systems as they relate to full automated technology.Familarity with industrial automation processes and equipment, such as motors, drives, sensors, and actuators.PLC knowledge and experience is plus with knowledge of Allen-Bradley software and drives.Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and ladder logic.Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $25.58–$32.73.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
