Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Manager – Commercial Planning & Analytics will work closely with the Executive Vice President and the Commercial & Merchandising Senior Leadership team. This role is responsible for aggregating, and analyzing data to support strategic decisions, coordinating meetings and events, and executing on initiatives aligned to the strategic priorities. These responsibilities should result in improvements in overall performance and driving and measuring growth. The Senior Manager, will organize, align, and communicate strategic priorities for the greater team. This role will own or identify owners and be accountable for projects/tasks to ensure overall we are efficient and consistent operations for the teams and their customers. This is a highly cross-functional role that intersects business analytics, project management, and process improvement, requiring effective internal collaboration.
Essential Functions Aggregate and analyze data providing support, predictions, and accountability to the EVP and leadership team.Monitor and maintain KPI focus and executionPresent business-wide analyticsMake recommendations to EVP and leaders on improved performance and areas of opportunity.Provide full information and serve as a reliable, trusted, and fair channel for all stakeholders.Coordinate strategic meetings and necessary deliverables. Sets pace for meeting key timelines, manages expectations, and ensures all collateral ready for review. As needed, serves as a proxy for the EVP in meetings. Builds messaging/presentations to support the strategic goals and priorities for the organization.Tactically oversee key projects and tracks initiative of critical business issues to ensure focus, efficiency, and impact. Ensure that coordination, alignment of objectives, and timelines support the overall business strategy. Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for process optimization and efficiency Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude College degree combined with corporate general management experience and/or increasing responsibility. Project management experience. Experience using tools or processes in managing large or complex projects. Strong technical and analytical background with the ability to analyze and translate data into strategic actions. Experienced in identifying opportunities and making recommendations for process improvement.Professional and expert presentation skills; advanced in designing visual presentations.Strategic thinker with effective diplomatic and proactive leadership skills.Must be able to work in a fast-paced, highly interactive environment. Comfortable interfacing between Sr. Executives and the organization.Highly credible, trustworthy, collaborative, and resourceful in style with the ability to work independently and as a team player in handling confidential maters and sensitive information.Strong understanding of the basics around business financials.
