ABOUT THE JOB:

The Sr. Manager, Market Operations is a key operational leader responsible for the overall success of the MSA (Metropolitan Statistical Area). This role entails managing across multiple lines of business (storage & modular) while enhancing employee engagement and ensuring safety across all branches. The Sr. Manager will focus on both short- and long-term strategies to drive operational efficiencies, cost management and customer satisfaction.

In the short term, the Sr. Manager will implement initiatives that optimize delivery and installation processes, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Long-term, this leader will develop strategic plans that align with company objectives, driving sustainable growth and maximizing real estate and resource utilization to meet customer fulfillment needs effectively.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Lead the MSA Operational leaders to execute on operational objectives Control the cost drivers on the P&L to ensure profitability by emphasizing cost management and operational efficiency. Develop and implement communication and support programs to achieve operational objectives and drive initiatives for continuous improvement. Create and execute operational plans that enhance Units-on-Rent (UOR) and overall growth while optimizing delivery and installation processes. Lead and coach employees, providing organizational leadership to foster engagement and meet business needs. Actively manage and develop leaders within the MSA to optimize fleet, real estate, and workforce utilization for maximum effectiveness and customer fulfillment and satisfaction. Analyze trends in the market that impact operations, providing insights for new developments and initiatives to the VP, Region General Manager. Lead financial modeling efforts for workforce optimization and logistics, ensuring effective planning for real estate and resource allocation. Provide timely information to functional departments to support ongoing business activities, including forecasting, compliance, and cost analysis. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: B.S. in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years in progressively responsible management roles focused on operations. Previous experience managing a P&L with an emphasis on efficiency and cost management is preferred. Must be able to travel at least 25% of the time.

Preferred Requirements:

Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Experience in developing operational strategies based on customer insights and market analysis. Strong ability to drive operational efficiencies and implement initiatives. Flexibility and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and assignments. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; seeks ways to improve quality and applies feedback to enhance performance. Effective communication and presentation skills. Extensive network within public administration, construction, and industrial sectors.

Salary Range: $137,900.00 - $193,100.00 
Individual rates are based on a variety of factors such as degrees or certifications, skill-level and years of experience, and include considerations such as expected overtime and variable compensation pay such as bonuses or commission.
