THE SCOPE

Responsible for providing guidance and direction to Network Services management on configuration, installation and deployment of existing and new technology. Responsible for the hiring, training, development, and performance management of staff. Responsible for ensuring on time deployment of projects, network compliance, and capital budgeting. 


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Ensure required reports are timely, accurate and complete. Identify and develop procedures to help streamline processes within Network Services. Provide technical guidance and assistance as required for problem resolution. Establish interfaces with Engineering, Field Services Operations, and other internal groups as necessary to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of problems. Oversee the daily activities of Network Services and perform direct supervision of team members, including performance reviews, career development, and staffing. Adhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable. Know, understand and follow company policy. Establish positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support. Develop an effective front line Leadership team and assist them with developing their direct reports as to drive a high performance culture and environment. Perform other duties as required by manager. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner Ability to analyze and interpret data Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure Ability to manage multiple projects at one time Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Ability to supervise and motivate others Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.) Ability to work independently Ability to work with others to resolve problems, handle requests or situations Extensive knowledge and experience with Network and Element Management tools Knowledge of company products and services Extensive knowledge of cable, voice and data communications networks, and associated elements Extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN design and operations Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP and SNMP Extensive knowledge of HFC networks Extensive knowledge of Advanced Video technology Demonstrated leadership qualities Ability to maintain confidentiality Knowledge of Microsoft Office Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within Company required standards may be required 

Required Education

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related field or equivalent experience 

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years  

5+yearsManagement experience in a 24/7 operations center 8+ years Network Operations and/or Implementation experience 2 years project management

The base pay for this position generally is between $110,800.00 and $196,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
