They identify markets and determine the feasibility of business and product development. Our Teams perform economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities, develop business models, and assess market trends to substantiate long-term prospects. Our Digital Data Networks (DDN) end markets are going through exponential change and rapid growth supported by secular megatrends of Artificial Intelligence in the cloud, Edge, and IoT End Points. Our customers are building devices and infrastructure, redefining the information technology world. Our products push the envelope to meet the ever-changing needs of an increasingly connected and data-driven world. We seek an exceptionally driven and highly analytical Manager of Business Development with a strong technology background that blends strategy and execution to focus on growing our ecosystem partnerships and engagement for the Edge and IoT dealing with interconnects and Antenna products. Silicon vendors and module manufacturers are vital in expanding Edge and IoT. The incumbent will work closely with ecosystem partners – both silicon vendors and wireless module providers, as well as product management, engineering, and executive leaders, in the development and execution of growth strategies. It will require exploring new growth areas through a deep understanding of the end equipment, building & validating strategies, and executing them to enable profitable growth in Edge AI and IoT. It will require extensive interaction with ecosystem partners and internal stakeholders (sales, product management, engineering, operations) to determine intercept opportunities, develop value proposition, position the product/portfolio, and conduct targeted promotion to realize business goals primarily around Board-to-Board connectors and Antenna products in reference designs and development kits to scale the engagement across broad customer base. This is a highly visible role that requires a high degree of strategic thinking, tolerance to ambiguity, and executive presence. **Key Responsibilities** + Define priorities, strategy, and roadmap for designing board-to-board interconnect and antenna products across silicon and wireless module vendors for Edge AI and IoT applications. + Communicate with and influence executive leaders and key stakeholders as part of developing and operationalizing growth strategies. + Research and identify ecosystem partners that can enhance our business, such as technology providers and/or strategic alliances, focusing on Silicon & Module players. + Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers at ecosystem partners. + Demonstrate structured thinking, mapping of applications to customers, rigor in measuring revenue/pipeline, and a playbook for identifying end customer base for ecosystem engagement + Initiate and collaborate with stakeholders to develop customer proposals and presentation materials, including developing business cases, value propositions, and supporting financial models. + Support sales engagement with customers and align with the sales function to develop a new business pipeline for chosen initiatives, starting with but not limited to mezzanine connectors, edge connectors, antennas, and interconnect devices related to IoT endpoints and edge applications, including future developments. **What your background should look like:** + 10 years in Business Development, Strategy, Product Management, and/or Sales, combined with a strong background in Engineering + Minimum of 4-year technical engineering degree, with an advanced degree + Experience in interconnect space/antenna/semiconductor space + Experience working with AI Chipset providers is highly desirable. + Given the nature of their role, customers preferred to be in the Bay Area or located with easy access to the Bay Area. + Ability to support travel up to 30% (domestic and international) + Highly analytical, systematic strategic thinker with strong problem-identification and problem-solving skills + Rigorously detail-oriented, committed to accuracy, and outcome-driven + Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
