**Job Description Summary** **Job Description** **Job Profile Summary** Coordinate and optimize the flow of configuration information between the product line, engineering and supply chain to maintain accurate and compliant BOMs in development. Coordinate the flow of materials supply schedules (from suppliers and also within departments) according to engineering test plans. Plan and schedule material/production needs via collaboration with manufacturing programs and sources as part of the larger development product team and communicate across the supply chain to ensure alignment on material needs/constraints. The role has autonomy within the operational area or a segment within a larger business unit. High levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen are required to achieve outcomes. The preference is for this person to sit out of Lynn, MA. Open to remote consideration in MA, CT, ME, NH, RI and VT with the expectation of once a month travel to Lynn. **Roles and Responsibilities** + Manage supply chain configuration management as well as master planning, material processes and systems. Ensure operational alignment with test plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements. + Manage material processes and systems to provide accurate signals and maintain data cleanliness requirements (removal of defects/inaccuracies). Understanding inventory transactions and their impact on the MRD signal to optimize inventory and process improvements. + Engage with supply chain and manufacturing programs to compliantly drive critical part delivery and allocation calls. Communicates program needs clearly and concisely to drive results at internal and external source locations. + Working with parts pool (development warehouse) for incoming hardware to ensure that part tracking and allocation is accurate in systems as well as ensure material flow and pick/issue transactions align to build plan. + In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. + Uses judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve tasks. Utilizes technical skills and analytical thinking to solve problems. + Leads others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Employs sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing or engineering techniques. Interaction with adjacent functions needed to solve issues.
