Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) is a part of the Disney Experiences segment, and is a center of excellence leading strategy development and decision making through actionable data analytics, integration, and insights.  Within CIMA, the Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team is focused on leveraging best practices in analytics to capture data, analyze, and optimize our digital and contact center channels, in order to drive Guest satisfaction and business outcomes.

We are seeking a talented Sr. Omni-Channel Analyst with a passion for analytics and technology. As a Sr. Omni-Channel Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate, insightful analysis to drive decision-making throughout the organization via data management and innovation. This important position requires you to possess a great attention to detail and the curiosity to understand the “why” behind performance. You must also be comfortable working with multiple partner teams in a fast-paced environment, developing requirements, extracting data, conducting analyses, and telling stories with data. This role is perfect for you if you’re an existing Senior Analyst aiming to broaden your experience, an advanced mid-tier Analyst ready for the next step in your career, or an Analytics Manager looking to switch industries.
 

This position supports the Walt Disney World business and is an independent contributor amongst an accomplished team. This will be a hybrid role, with time in both the office and working from home, and will need to be physically based near our Celebration, Florida office.

What you will do:

Utilize measurement to support business objectives

Collaborate with business, technology, and other analytics partners to determine data needs and establish data collection requirements based on those needsOversee accurate implementation of data collection requirements by executing quality assurance procedures and on-going anomaly detection effortsSupport partner teams with regular reporting, ad-hoc analyses, and deep-dive projects from start to finish using industry best practices and unique self-driven ideasUse statistical methods to solidify validity of findings and explain those concepts to non-experts

Independently drive priorities and recommendations to fruition

Represent the team as the owner of channel data collection using knowledge and use-cases for solving business questionsDiscover areas of opportunity for data improvement and follow-through to see those improvements implementedProactively seek out additional information to round out analyses and confirm assumptionsBe a participatory member of tactical teams with on-going initiatives

Leverage professional experiences to demonstrate analytical aptitude and support project lifecycles

Prepare analytical plans, including milestones, hypotheses, and data sources necessary, to complete complex deep dive analysisMaintain reference materials for performance reporting and contextual insightDesign clean, visually appealing, effective and impactful reports and visuals for executive leadership consumptionSuccinctly present stories with a focus on actionable outcomes fit for the audience

Problem solve and participate in “Blue Sky” sessions, coming up with new ideas and concept design

We’d love to hear from people with the following qualifications:

5+ years of professional career experience3+ years of analytical experienceExperience with digital data collection methods and analysis of web and/or mobile app platformsProficiency in SQL, R, or Python programming languagesWorking knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence and predictive analyticsDemonstrated ability to dissect data, define segmentation scenarios, and target use casesAbility to distill analysis into concise recommendations and present to various levels of audiences, including executivesPersuasion skills to effectively guide decision-making using action-oriented data insightsIndependent time management and prioritization skills with an ability to meet deadlinesIntuition for anticipating outcomes, envisioning the right course of action, and influencing successful business outcomesSuccinct and clear communication in verbal, written, and visual mediumsSuccessful performance in an evolving field where new tools and technology are the normProven relationship skills with thought partners, clients, and collaborative teamsCuriosity to push the envelope with good judgment to mitigate riskExperience with A/B Testing and/or web/mobile app optimizationProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote)Proficient in collaboration tools (ex.
