Environmental Conditions

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.)

Senior Operator - 1st Shift - FLP (Wedge Line)

A Day in the Life:

Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery.Perform simple maintenance and necessary adjustments.Participate in line opening and machine setup.Follow all written procedures and report any discrepancies to the Area Supervisor.Accurately document and check work for quality and compliance.Continuously monitor products for defects.Suggest improvements for the production process.Assist in training and developing peers.Provide mentorship and direction to peers.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting, or a related field.Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Proficiency in English, including technical and scientific language.Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).Ability to trouble shoot machinery

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

Ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours a day).Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to perform repetitive movements, including pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, bending, grasping, and crouching.
