Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and participate in cross-functional program and manufacturing readiness forums to ensure project success.Ensure adherence to NPI (New Product Introduction) processes to achieve manufacturing KPIs and deliver high-quality results.Provide clear and comprehensive status updates and recovery plans to both working teams and executive leadership. Oversee full manufacturing readiness for products, focusing on equipment, materials, and resource planning.Drive capital efficiency and lead long-term product cost reduction initiatives in collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and production teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 12 years of working experience, at least 5 years in program management, or engineering management, or production operations.Technical Expertise:Strong understanding of complex optoelectronics production lines, including manufacturing/industrial engineering principles and methodologies.Knowledge of manufacturing validation processes (e.g., validation plans, KPIs).In-depth understanding of product cost structure and the influence of key factors.Familiarity with design for manufacturability, process design, process validation, and assembly methods.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD models.Experienced with workplace software, including word processors, spreadsheets, and databases.Strong team player, capable of working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with cross-functional teams.Communication Skills:Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels, including senior and executive leadership.Proficient in written and verbal communication in both English and Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus.Problem-Solving Skills:Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.Proficient in various problem-solving methodologies.
