Job Description

Oracle DBA Skills:

Should have more than 8 years of DBA experience.Experience on Oracle DB migrations or upgrades for large databasesExperience/knowledge on pre-checks/analysis before performing database migrations/upgrades.Knowledge of optimization techniques to be applied if we are experiencing performance issues after upgrade/migration.Experience in database cloningWorking Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise ManagerExperience on Configuration & Administration of Oracle Data guardExperience on RMAN Backup & RestoreDesign and implementation of Backup & Recovery using RMAN and SQL scripts.Knowledge of exp/imp & data pump UtilityExperience on database patching & Performance tuningWorking experience on multiple operating systems (Linux, UNIX, Windows)Experience of Upgrading & Migration of RAC databases, GRID and RDBMS manually patching or Patching by Opatch utility.Communication: Good written and verbal communication, understating of ITIL and IT security Process in corporate environmentWorking Knowledge of Multitenant architecture with CDB & PDB.

GoldenGate DBA Skills:

Goldengate installation, Configuration, documentation and setting up extract and replicats Troubleshooting various issues related to Oracle GoldengateKnowledge on Performance tuning of Oracle Goldengate   Good knowledge in executing Near zero down time migration for oracle database (on-premise and cloud ) using oracle GoldenGate.Good Knowledge of Oracle Goldengate Microservices

Requirements:

 

8 – 15 years of experience in the Technology Industry.Experience in database architecture design, development, and implementations of scalable and high-performance systems.Experience in gathering and analyzing system requirements.Familiarity with tools related to data migration, data warehousing, data modeling, data integration and database design.Exhibit leadership in guiding team members, adapts to changes in technology and business domains.Research industry best practices in emerging technologies and implement into database design.Ability to pick up and learn new technological advances very quickly.Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently.Ability to communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders & team members.Solve complex and difficult problems and build automation to prevent problem recurrence.Conduct periodic on-call duties.Motivated team player and Adaptable individual with analytical and interpersonal skills.Contribute to making our infrastructure simple, reliable, and easy to operate.
