Primary Purpose The Sr. Payroll Processor is the primary owner of payroll processing, including adjustments, off-cycle payrolls and internal control audits. The role is involved in improving the operations and contributing to the overall teammate experience from the Payroll Department. This role is responsible for helping to drive continuous improvement across payroll. Essential Functions • Point of contact for employees for time and attendance and payroll • Collecting timesheet data and payroll information. • Entering data into payroll and administrative databases. • Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, as needed. • Preparing and processing paychecks. • Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions. • Troubleshoot and resolves all payroll-related inquiries or concerns. • Performing payroll reconciliations. • Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports for review by management. • Verifies with Human Resources timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. • Facilitates audits. • Performs other duties as assigned. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
