• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably within an HR function.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Strong desire to investigate data and find patterns.
• Processing adhoc requests received through custom request /ad hoc tool and building custom reports wherever required.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and integrity of data through attention to detail and understanding of metric definitions.
• Hands on working experience of atleast 3-4 years with Cognos BI
OR any other BI tool.
• HRIS and ATS systems is desirable; experience with UKG Pro desired
• At least 3-4 years’ experience in Cognos reporting to deliver enterprise scale reports and able to work within already established dashboards or other major BI platforms.
• Knowledge of SQL database language.
• Craft and develop reports and presentations to inform decisions made by HR clients and business leaders.
• Create standard scheduled reports for ongoing needs.
• Must have good understanding of HR employee database, data quality checks, data governance, People Reporting, HRIS reporting
• Respond to data inquiries with management support
• Maintenance of scheduled reports via UKG pro and Cognos BI (preferrable).
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• In depth knowledge and experience with MS Excel (Intermediate/Advanced).
• Strong customer focus, high degree of confidentiality and adherence to regulatory standards such as Data Privacy, GDPR, etc.
• Build and maintain relationships with HR and business users to assist them with using and understanding existing and newly created reports.
• Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
• Assess report requests and compare to existing reports in systems to determine whether new reports are necessary.
