Description Amazon’s North American Sort Center (NASC), ACES Operations Integration team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Program Manager to help develop world-class middle mile systems that deliver on time for the customer and at optimal cost. Operations Integration is a Program Management team responsible for the ideation and integration of operator tools, quality performance initiatives, & network scaling mechanisms into the NASC network. The team is focused on providing solutions that positively impact daily execution and shape the forward looking vision of the network. Key job responsibilities • Develop operational business requirements to enable innovation, support user acceptance testing, conduct pilots, and deploy new process, hardware, and software solutions across the network. • Communicate network changes, programs and events that will impact future short, medium and long-term sort and delivery operations to various stakeholders. • Drive network level excellence by designing and implementing systems, metrics, and mechanisms that maximize compliance and continuous improvement. • Define and drive adoption of standard work into the daily routines and habits of operations and support staff. • Collaborate with counterparts in other ATS functional areas and corporate teams to drive standardization and documentation of core process elements to support network growth and scale. • Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end-to-end outcomes for Amazon customers. • Drive data creation, confirm integrity, and ensure accessibility to key performance indicators for the network, allowing leaders to focus energy on improving performance. • Ensure adoption of real time feedback tools and software production tools to enhance associate experience and reduce repeat defect injection. About the team Our Vision: Ops Integration maximizes output from internal and external technical resources to drive step change improvements in Cost to Serve in the NASC network through process transformation. Our Mission: We lead a portfolio of programs that are designed to improve cost and customer experience or deliver increased capacity or speed in the operations network. We serve as singled threaded leaders of fully supported (approved by Ops Leadership & Finance) programs being implemented from concept through hand-off & full integration. We work closely with other program owners, program stakeholders, and internal partners to plan, organize, change manage, and ultimately deliver on fully integrated programs that are ready to hand-off to operations partners. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - 2+ years of operational and/or retail management experience - Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications - 2+ years of driving process improvements experience - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
