Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Program Manager to lead one of our long-term strategic priorities, "Create & Embrace Disruption," within the Space and Power Systems (SP&PS) sector. The ideal candidate will be at the forefront of driving innovative initiatives, fostering strategic partnerships, and harnessing cross-functional collaboration to propel significant projects that contribute to our sector's profitable growth. This role demands a proactive leader who can identify disruptive opportunities, allocate capital effectively towards customer solutions, and navigate the New Space landscape with agility and strategic acumen.
Essential Functions:
Lead and manage high-potential project teams across the sector to drive initiatives that align with the strategic priority of creating and embracing disruption.
Expand and nurture strategic partnerships, with a keen focus on engaging new entrants in the "New Space" arena and managing venture investments.
Spearhead the identification and execution of cross-enterprise synergies, particularly in the NSS market, to leverage collective strengths and capabilities.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure the successful execution of critical projects that move the needle for the business.
Oversee the allocation of IRAD capital, directing investments toward innovative customer solutions that drive profitable growth and technological breakthroughs.
Qualifications:
Requires both advanced business knowledge and highest level of technical mastery in functional area. Leadership capability to guide business or functional teams without formal management role. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience (preferred). In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.

Adept at working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and comfortable with ambiguity and change.
Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills, with the ability to drive initiatives and influence cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated track record of identifying disruptive opportunities and successfully bringing innovative projects to fruition.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of fostering partnerships and navigating complex market landscapes.
Experience with venture capital investments and working with startups or "New Space" companies.
