Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) in our Colorado Springs, CO office.
Position Overview:
Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Support configuration data management planning, including process definition, implementation, and trainingImplement new configuration management (CM) tools (Teamcenter Mission PLM) and act as the CM Owner and AdministratorMaintain a systematic change management process by generating configuration management documents and support engineering change controlProduce new configuration management process documentation as requiredPrepare documents for archival and maintain archived records as requiredOwner of the CM Process, and program technical baseline Manage the storage and processes for officially updating our documentation and data librariesFollow the CM/DM processes throughout project life cycles to maintain consistent configuration control, developing, operating, and maintaining change managed baselinesInterfacing well with program management, team members, and the customer while keeping track of documents and action itemsStrong communication and organizational skillsMaintain – Process Documentation (Configuration Management Plan, Master HW list, Master SW List, Engineering drawings, Technical Baseline)Transfer of CM artifacts between environmentsAudits of CM artifacts supporting program needsControlling baselinesBasic Qualifications:
Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst: 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 6 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD. 12 years of relevant experience in may be considered in lieu of a degree.Active Secret clearanceConfiguration management and change control experience Experience in Agile methodology (Kanban, Scrum, etc.)Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, etc) Experience with SharePointExperience with MS Office tool suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)Experience creating and documenting workflow processes for engineering changesExperience implementing digital configuration management tools into various engineering lifecycle phases

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibilityStrong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to project plan and executeProcess improvement experienceDemonstrated independent planning, organization, and working in cross-functional teams with a customer focusExperience with digital configuration management tools (Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill PLM, Autodesk Vault, Solidworks PDM, etc.)Experience with a myriad of CM tools and processes Drafting and/or CAD exposure or experience to facilitate drawing and model review and transition into new digital toolsStrong knowledge of product lifecycle managementSalary Range: $99,900.00 - $149,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
